The three-day institute is for institutional teams (or in some cases, single members) of faculty to plan for the creation and expansion of Undergraduate Research (UR) activity and programs on their campuses, The event will initiate a project to build capacity in the undergraduate research at participating colleges and universities.
The institute will be held on the campus of the University of North Carolina Asheville (UNC Asheville). Select Appalachian College Association(ACA) colleges and UNC Asheville will send four-person teams of faculty to attend the institute.
